First 'solo' run for a while today, and whilst I wasn't running very fluently, I didn't duck out at the first path to go home.

The beauty of the low autumn sunshine and the loveliness of the Country Valley Park kept me going. Not overly fast, admittedly, but I kept going.

Now to get back into the habit. Let's home autumn continues to help me and doesn't show its dark dank side.

A third beautiful morning in a row!

I do hope spring continues like this!

Love this photo with the sun in the corner, and the sky so blue!

Oh what a beautiful morning!

As we set off up the road to school, I took this shot with my new camera, trying to catch the sky, the sun and the tree.

Not bad...

Oh what a beautiful morning!
And a lovely afternoon too!

I went for a brisk walk this afternoon (in lieu of a run!) in the Newhall Country Valley Park. Once more I was struck by how fortunate I am to live so near to such a beautiful place for walking, running, cycling, dawdling!

It was good to be going at a pace more conducive to taking in the scenery in more detail - not that I run that fast! - and to be able to take photographs. I took some beauties - and am particularly proud of this one.

A striking tree and the sun going down. Lovely.

Today's tree was taken on the way to school.

The sun was low in the sky and, without a flash on my iPhone, the tree is silhouetted beautifully against the sky which was a beautiful colour.

Oranges, blues and purples.

And crunching in the snow just added to the experience.
