A beautiful sunrise in our garden, silhouetting the trees.
Jude was worried for the shepherds though ;o)

A frosty cold morning in Sutton Coldfield - and what a beautiful view from my bedroom window!
I love my garden!

A frosty, but still not very snowy garden this morning.
It was beautiful in the park but sadly it was captured in my eyes not my camera as i was running!
Trees365 331:365
The view out of my bedroom as i got up this morning.
And the day stayed cold and sunny.
Excellent! And long may it continue.

In our garden, about 7 years ago at Easter. Isaac and his Grandad on the annual Easter egg hunt having just rescued a chick from the apple tree.
The boys miss their Grandad but not as much as I miss my Dad.
He'd have been 69 today.

In the back garden again, and one of my favourite trees.
i like this photo as it shows the two trunks bending away and then back towards each other, and also the peeling bark that is so characteristic of this tree.

What a beautiful blue sky!
A lovely October day.
And a fine green tree - caught just before the leaves turn.

I like this tree - it's always interesting.
Love these knobbly bits juxtaposed with the fluffy bits!

Apples!
it's my tree's 'good' year so Saturday and Sunday were spent picking apples and making things!
The house smells of chutney!

I love my acer.
The colour and shapes of the leaves are so beautiful.
Just caught it before the tree starts losing its leaves.

Today's tree is in my garden, and comes complete with a child reading!
Isaac was filming for his Apple Summer Camp project and decided to indulge in some extreme reading. And why not?

This beautiful tree is next door - haven't been able to see it up until John chopped down the hazel trees.
Good to see it! I particularly like the bark.

Another fragrant tree today, this time from my garden!
I love the delicate perfume as I walk past this tree on the way down the garden. And I really like the two coloured blossom - white and lilac -a nd the shiny smooth leaves.
Trees365 184:365
I took this photograph to capture all the hard work that John has done over the last few days to 'severely prune' the hazel trees at the end of the garden.
And also to remind me of all the work I've done today to cut up and put all the lopped branches into bags to go to the council tip.
Hard work but it was a lovely day and i got a tan at the same time ;o)

This tree is in next door's garden but it overhangs our path.
Annoys me at times but at the moment it smells wonderful so i won't moan!

I am so enjoying the weather at the moment. Time spent in the garden reading a great book (if you haven't read Notes from an exhibition by Patrick Gale, I can recommend it!), trampolining and laughing with the boys (husband included in that) and to cap it all, beautiful blossom on the trees.
Quite proud of this picture!

Ok - I guess you could argue that this isn't a tree, but it's my blog and I decide what goes on it!
This is our Pieris and I love it! It smells delightful, and it reminds me of my Grandma who died 20 years ago this month.
In the garden this afternoon, I was drawn by the smell and the sight of bumble bees feasting on the little white bell-like flowers.
Spring has sprung!
